WELCOME TO LORIGLAND…

the virtual home of authors Richard and Steffanie Lorig! We are happy you stopped by. Located in the greater Seattle area, LorigLand is a potluck of all things good and sweet.

First on the menu, check out the book that we’ve written together, called “Such a Silly Baby!“, a silly and sweet adventure, with rhyming text and bright illustrations that invite children to hoot, snort, neigh, and giggle along! The book has been getting great great reviews from the New York Times, Kirkus, the School Library Journal and Publisher’s Weekly. Also, check out the video that ExpandedBooks.com did for us while we visited the daycare that our son used to go to! The book is available now at Chronicle Books.

• FEBRUARY 14, 2009 at 10 AM: Bring your little Valentine to a Such a Silly Baby reading/signing,
  at Parkplace Books, Kirkland, WA.
  

• MARCH 2009: Bring your silly babies out to meet us in March at the Arizona Young Author’s Conference and the Tucson Book Festival.

We also love visiting schools, bookstores and libraries for storytime or to talk to the kids about our books. Let us know if you’d like us to visit! We’d love to meet you.
